    Agree with the ENTP lady. I'm not 'afraid' or hard work. I'll out-work most anybody if I'm feeling spiteful enough. I just feel trapped with routines. Claustraphobic almost. I'll bust my ass doing the impossible....for a while. And then I'm out. I don't care if it's hard/easy/mid. All I see is a numbing sameness, a blink or two, and I'm on my death bed having done nothing else but that one silly thing. Ne is scary as your lead function. I don't just see possibilities, I see dead ends too.

    Traits is some thing you develop in your environments how you were brought up Traits are behavior it can change when our upbringing changes our type can't change we are wired differently .

    I find that with inferior Ni, I get stuck between possibilities for narratives. For example, I don't necessarily know what is going on in relationships, and I will find solid evidence for different possibilities but will rarely be able to settle on any of those possibilities. There are also times when I just cannot seem to see another possibility. I may clearly see two opposite perspectives but fail to see the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and so on. Maybe inferior Ni is why I mis-typed myself as an ENTJ for years. This episode really confirmed what I have recently suspected but, of course, I never would have arrived at this conclusion without someone else pointing it out. Anyway, great episode!

    For the longest time I have known I was an INxJ type and it took me about two years to figure out that the entire time I had not taken my personality traits into account. Ofc intjs and infjs have a lot of common personality traits and such, but after a while I had realized I was an intj the entire time. I just like to think that my Fe and Te were balanced at one point or another.

    vey nice presentation, I enjoyed it. engineering a sales pitch to a naturally calculating and sharply defensive group of people must have been difficult. the end “secret” as your main hook popped the bubble as it appeals to the very thing that the heaviest defenses are built around. have you considered correlations between intj and asd? perhaps a more solid sales model would be an intellectual approach instead of an emotional one. i am both and can tell you for certain that there is a lot of overlap in behaviors, motivations and traits. cheers

    Couldn’t figure out how to write a review on Spotify 😢- But I wanted to help Antonia out!! Oh my gosh: Where do I even start??? You both have had such an impact on my life!!! The way you present information beckons the listener to really consider themselves. Is THAT me or is THIS me? I thought I was INFP for a long time. Then I thought I was INFJ. Now I know I’m ENFJ 😊. I just needed comprehensive, witty, down-to-earth, genuine, and insightful sources like Joel and Antonia to validate that type really does look different for different people. But it’s all about “where your head is at” (your cognition). PH has helped me understand those I love in ways I wouldn’t have been able to otherwise! I love the style of how you teach these concepts. I’m fan-girling, but I can’t help it 😅 Thank you so very much for what you do and always being authentic while doing it! 💜💜💜

    The wiring of the mind. I think it's important to know why it happens. cognitive functions and how they accurd. I mean from day one of humanity. They has to be a reason we get pleasure from being in our dominant function. Studies suggest extraverts have more serotonin. The functions will narrow down into a feeling or something biological. If it becomes possible to determine where it begins. Then it will be more helpful. I think watching your 2 or 3 year old makes it easier to see how humans flip functions. If the brain wiring is set then how does it know. Why would humans need to be wired this way.

    Seems like in many of these profiler add videos there is chair shortage. Many sit on the floor when profiling people. Are they doing that by choice? Are people fighting over who gets chairs or tables on profile people day?

    • @Personalityhacker

      On the final day when people are paired up with volunteers over Zoom to profile, the main room(s) get pretty loud with conversations, so it's not uncommon for people to find other spots and cubbies in the hotel to have more quiet as they profile. Which, sometimes, means finding a spot on the floor. Thanks for the question! -Antonia

    This is a typical comment of an F-type "and if someone does want to feel that they are weak at something...". Well, suck it up, bro - you are weak at certain functions!

  • @meinungabundance7696
    @meinungabundance7696 6 днів тому

    Joel doesn't like using precise vocabulary, smoothing things over. "Weakness" is a weakness - and even if you can develop your 3rd or 4th function, you will never be a as good at it as the person with the 1st function (CG Jung and Marie Louse von Franz talk a lot about it).

    This is a very well defined concept of love. However, i refuse to approach love through emotion rather than logic even though i am ENFJ. I noticed that my emotions trip me up continually. Therefore i conclude that love is not a feeling at all. It is primarily vetted through understanding. When a person is able to understand and be understood in solidarity with you, that is love. Understanding comes through the logos or logical conclusions. Love is NEVER a feeling. Emotions are like the ocean tides. Never reliable
